“Great First Surf Experience for our Kids
We arranged a morning of surfing with Danny for our family. It was the first time my 8YO and 10YO kids had been surfing, and Danny made sure they had a great and safe experience. The surfing took place at Playa Kanoa on the N. facing side of the island. It is not a simple beginner beach break, but Danny helped prep and orient our kids on where we would be surfing and how to stay safe. With a helpful push from Danny, each of our kids were catching their first waves and having a blast. On the inside, Danny had his co-worker in the water to help our kids get back out to the lineup.
Danny provided great beginner-friendly foam boards that were in great shape, and everything was punctual and professional. An added bonus is that the coast at Playa Kanoa has a much wilder feel looking out to the open Atlantic than the S. side of the Island, and we loved the experience there.
Afterwards, our kids were asking when we would get to go surfing again -- the best indicator of a successful experience. Thanks, Danny!”

Danny provided all the equipment, along with helpful technique tips and very clear safety instructions before we hit the water. He struck the perfect balance between being laid-back and highly professional, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident.
Throughout the entire two-hour session, Danny was extremely attentive and safety-focused. He kept a close eye on everyone in the group and made sure we were all having fun while staying safe.
Although everyone in our group was a confident swimmer, none of us had ever surfed before and thanks to Danny’s guidance, everyone caught waves and had an absolute blast.
The atmosphere was fun, encouraging, and well-organized. By the end of the session, we were all smiling and buzzing from the experience. It was truly a highlight of our vacation!
